I'm a new member today. Just bought my first slot, a Bally E2209. supposed to work good, however, I'm waiting for a ribbon cable so I can find out. Anybody know anything about this machine or have anything else to offer a newbie. Thanks

Yea, also ordered a manual. Should have them by Friday. Keep your fingers crossed that this solves the problem. Thanks for your help, really appreciate it and it's good to know, there's somebody close that knows these machines.

Gary, got my part this morning. It's working like a charm. Looks like it's doing what it's supposed to. I've won a bunch of times and it's paying out correctly so far. Yahoo!!! It actually seems somewhat easy to win.  Can these be tightened up at all? Anyway, it's gonna be fun to play with. Thanks for your help.

Just wondering, can sounds or lights flashing be added so they sound when you win?  It would be cool if there were some sounds and lights.

Please Post Pictures  inside and out and inside the top box.
It may have a disconnected sound card in the top box.
You can add a bell if there isn't a sound card.

Glad the new ribbon cable fixed the problem. There's not much that can be done to control the payout on the older Bally's.
