Vision Top Box Mod

Has anyone figured out what these connections are on a vision top box?

I was thinking of simply hooking this up to a regular computer and running the files on the disk.   The molex has 9 wires so maybe a serial port?

That 10-pin P/J3A Molex connector you have highlighted: is for the Netplex and two kinds of power voltages on orange
and red respectively 25v & 13v.
It goes back into the small Power Distribution board on the back wall of the topbox
or down to the junction box on the topbox floor then down to the motherboard in the bottom cabinet.

Netplex is the communications networking interfacing in the slot machine between all the stuff inside,
the DBV, printer, LCD computer, bonus wheels, etc.etc.
They basically use all the 10-pin Molex connectors.
IGT came out with this (probably another stolen idea) with the S2000's.

So these pc motherboards have a netplex interface built into them -

Yes...idea no go I'm afraid...
If you were going to do what I think you were going to do, you know what I mean, jellybean?  

Uh...the Netplex communicates directly with the MPU through the motherboard
and a lot of what is going on up in the LCD cpmputer...relies on the SB chip on the MPU in order for it to work.
I thnk it has to do with checksums matching up in order to get the green light.
The operating systems 1st installed on these LCD topbox computers are pretty primitive...3.1 I think?
we're NOT talking XP or Win7 here...
