Sizzling 7 is a Type 0 game.  The SP709 chip (which you also used for your Type 5 Double Diamond Deluxe game) will run it.

For your future reference:

  • Here is a post that list most of the available SP chips and what game types they support.

  • The IGT Game Bible lists most of the available S+ kits, and also lists the game "Type" at the top of each listing.

Note that your Double Diamond Deluxe game SS chip is listed under "3CM" for 3 Coin Multiplier (pays (aside from the top award) are multplied by the number of coins played).

Your Sizzling 7 game is listed under the "3CBP" link for 3 Coin Buy-a-Pay (pays are "bought" depending on the number of coins played -- for example, if you only play 1 coin, you won't get paid if you spin three red 7s).

  • The Game Types page explains what those "Type" numbers mean (ie. a Type 0 game has no nudging or special features -- a type 2 game is a Haywire game, etc.).

thanks Kanql, I thought I would have to buy a new eprom. I did look in the bible but I thought there might be some type of issues with compatibility since one game is a 3cm and sizzling 7 is a 3cbp. Thanks for explaining

You're welcome.  Per the first reference link (above), the SP709 supports Types 0, 1, 4, 5, and 12, so even though your Double Diamond Deluxe (Type 5) and Sizzling 7 (Type 0) games are different game Types, the SP chip you have supports both of them.

Put my SS7676 sizzling 7 eprom in and SP709 in. The wins are not corresponding with the reel strips.  Cry Laughing any ideas. All three reel strips are 85862000

Your 3 strips need to have the symbols physically placed in the order below...
They should all be the same actually...
Is your machine a slant sit-down type of machine or an upright machine?
Check the back of your reel baskets.
There will be some markings that tell you if your baskets are correct and they should be all the same whether your machine is an upright or slant.

I don't know about that basket number but it WILL have a raised print
on the flat part near the hub with an "UP" or a "S/T"

Those respectively meaning "upright" or "slant" machine reels...
It doesn't matter anyways - your strips do NOT match the PAR sheet.
You have the wrong strips for your reel chip or vice versa...

You need to post a photo of the award glass so
we can match up strips/chip to your glass...

The reel basket has "UP" on it. Here is a photo of the top award glass. I bought the glass from one person, and the reel strips from another and...... frying pan :yes call me crazy I got the SS7676 from yet another person. ( I used the SP709 chip from my double diamond deluxe, which was suggested in an earlier post) I just wanted to have multiple games for my ONE S-plus machine. DDD and Haywire Dlx works great thanks to the help of New Life Games family members.

OKay...here's your game from the "Bible"...>>>

http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible/IGT%203CBP/Game%20Library%20-%20S-Plus%20-%20Sizzling%207%20%283%20Coin%20Buy-A-Pay%29.htm

You can see your SS chip down near the bottom of the sheet
and see it's dirty rotten % payout  loser that casinos love to use against the players.

4 threads ago I showed you how your 3 strips should be laid out for your SS chip.
That chip is for your award glass as shown in the "Bible"

Guess what's wrong?
Your strips...they're not matching the PAR sheet.

To further elaborate on what all that means, the squiggles "~~" are blank spaces, 1B 2B and 3B are single, double, and triple bars respectively, "7" is a plain red 7, and "Z7" is the Sizzling 7 logo.

Unfortunately my cross-referencing skills are minimalistic with the crappy lists I have.
I will dig around for you and see what I can find.
Maybe someone else with better lists will chime in and help out.

660 015 00B - you sure that's the right number on the back of your strips?

Shouldn't the last 3 read as "008"?
do you have difficulty reading small numbers?
I do...

Your strip numbers are NOT S+ strip numbers.

No...85862000 are Bonus Sizzling 7's 3CBP reel strips.
I don't know what else to tell you based on what I have on hand here at home.

Will this match the glass he has???

I don't know...but he now just wants to know what chip would match his strips.
It's up to him what he wants to change, either the strips or the glass.
We're just trying to give him options.

However, I'm getting funny PAR sheets...I wonder if his strips are really a 107B type?
I have a Bonus Sizzling 7's set of strips that are the same number as his and I use an SS3340 chip to run it.
I wonder if the SS7676 PAR sheet is incorrect?

Below is the picture from the Bible for the 107A strips...>>>

No...I'm afraid it won't match the award glass he has ( I said that in an earlier Reply/post I think )
but he now just wants to know what chip would match his strips.

He wants his machine up and running.

Are you going to tell him he should he buy new glass and eprom to match his strips, or should he get the strips to match the glass and eprom he has.

Knowledge is useless when puked up in little bloody puddles.

Sorry, but please excuse me for trying to help out a fellow member to achieve
the same goal of getting his machine up and running -
what would you suggest, sir?
We'd like to hear your solution instead of you criticizing me?
That doesn't help him any.  no

I have a suggestion...maybe MIKEJMCFALL  can send a PM to this seller and
ask them what chips and strips he has in his machine?
That may help?...>>>

Im going to try a SS3340 it has something to do with my strips being a 64 stop and the ss7676 being a 32 stop(got one on the way in the mail from Ron @ samron slots, very nice and helpful)  I can use my sp709 chip with it or maybe sp1271. THANKS EVERYONE  Hail for all the help. In the end I think its a lot cheaper to change the ss chip. Thanks again. Also part of the fun in this hobby is participating in the new life games forum, I have to feed my addiction and at least look in the forum once a day.

Oh! That's great!  The Wave
The gang at Samron slot's have helped me many times before
and THEY are excellent people!  Hail
I hope you get your game up and running soon!

I wished I could have helped you more but I did NOT see
the 64 vs 32 reel stops difference - I learn something new every day!  propeller
I passed out as much info I had on your setup
and hoped to God someone could figure it out!  yes
