like I explained before, the sigma SG-1 is similar to the Sigma B-52 poker machines.  these CC-16 are +12vdc operation.  with an inhibit function.  the machine only puts out +12vdc to the CC-16. the inhibit function is usually pin 1, pin2 is the sense line, 3&4 are not connected, pin5 is the +12vdc, pin 6 is ground.

inhibit is as follows, enable=ground or less than 2.5 vdc,  inhibit =floating or greater than 3.7vdc.

the inhibit allows the mechanism to be disabled (no coin acceptance) without removing power from the mechanism. Grounding pin 1 allows the accept coil armature to operate normally when valid coins are sensed.  floating or applying  a voltage greater than 3.7vdc to pin 1 will disable the accept coil armature and reject coins even though they may be sensed as good ones.

the machine must be inhibiting the CC-16 from accepting coins.

Don't know if it helps, but I had the same problem on a Sigma ST-150+ and solved it with a RAM reset.  You might try that.

How do you do that?
Thanks for the response!
