Hello! I bit the bullet and bought a game king for the man cave last october.  Just took it out of the car and I know nothing and I mean nothing about it except its in imaculate shape the buttons work and very heavy.  Its a touch screen 6.2 model I believe.  Hoping I got a good deal at 3500, and its a real machine not a fake.  ill post pics later but I just wanted to say hello and get my first post out of the way.  Peace!

Yes I live in nor cal =) and for the game its the newest game king even has blackjack and 37 games including texas tea.  It might be version 6.3? I dunno.  Found out how to get the money back and now id like to reset the counters but its telling me some door has to be open.  Only paid a grand and the cabinet is really really nice... touch screen led! =)

Congratulations!  What a steal!  And it looks to be in absolutely perfect shape.  You're definitely going to have fun with that one.

You should stand that game upright and not have it laying on its side...

Id like to reset the super 8 slot "fruit bonus" and start fresh....  I just wish they had phone technicians for these.... pay by the hour kind of thing.  My head is racing with questions and not one answer.  Makes me feel funny.  From what I've read I'm way over my head here trying to figure this out.  Takes my money just fine though.  Down 10,000 dollars since last night!

You have to take all the credits out of the machine to reprogram the printer . the pay out % and  the denomination you will need a key chip

Bought a gk 6.  I turned it off and unplugged but all the stats are still there.  Id like to reset the machine so it thinks no money has been ran thru.  Any help wpuld be great.  It has poker, slots, keno, and bj.  The mini fruit jackpot is insane on the super 8 racer slot. Tried hittin the fruit it for hours now I just want to stat it back at zero.   yummy  it also prints another guys name and city on the tickets and I can't seem to change that.  Do I need a special tool or something?

Thank u!  I don't have a key thing but I did take all the credits out now how do I change the printer I don't see a link for it.  As for percentages I'm fine where they are at and the its a multi demomination which is fine.  Thanks again for ur help.  Do u have any clue on reseting the fruit jackpot on super 8 races slot besides hitting it?  Ps where would one buy a key chip and what costs are we talking?

Mike  I have a few Game Kings but I'm no expert. First we need to know which MPU board you have.  Pic. are always welcome.  With the power off just pull the board out, nothing holds it in. ( unless yours has a lock )

Once we know which board, a clear and key chip can be determined. If it turns out to be a 3902 board I'll send you a clear/key chip no charge.

Looking at the picture you posted it looks like you need a key chip anyway.  I hope the games I see programmed on your machine aren't all the same for all the denominations. ( some one sure liked Keno )
