This should be an easy answer, hopefully.  I'm trying to get the handle off my E2000 for rechroming - looks to me like taking the bolt off from the inside (bolt head next to star washer and actuating arm) should be removed, then handle and hub should come off from outside.   I'm putting some good force on the bolt, but it's not budging - don't want to break anything.  Am I doing this correctly?  It isn't left hand threaded, is it?

You are correct. That is the bolt to remove. The handle is threaded and the bolt tights to it. It is a standard R/H thread. Maybe someone put lock tight on the threads?

If it's jammed, force it... If it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway...

As far as the handle, Foxsslots has them on ebay for $19.95 NOS, item
# 150582437801.

Yow may pay more than that to get yours re-chromed.

Thanks, guys.  You gave me the confidence to attack it with a breaker bar, and I got it.  Somebody torqued the bajeezus out of it.   Thanks so much for the clue!   +1 (Karma, or whatever)

That bolt has a problem of coming loose.
Then you have hell getting to it when the reels are jammed up.
