Would it be wise to buy an I Game (with an 044 board) in a cabinet not set up with TITO and a Players Club card slot or does it matter? I was reading a previous post and read something about issues with the top light in regards to the TITO set up... or something along that line.
I'm looking at an I Game which doesn't appear to have TITO or a players club card slot and wondering if that is a better road to travel?
Thanks, Jim

I'm not quite sure what your asking.  The 044 is a great platform and cabinet is identical to my 3092.

I've covered up the player tracking stuff with a black planel and they both look great

I cant find the thread but someone was having trouble with with a setting or error with an 044 board game that made the attendant light continually blink slowly when the TITO was operational. I'm not positive if I'm even close to remebering this correctly but am concerned about a future possible purchase of an Igame with a 044 board, and if the TITO can be used at home or has to be hooked up to a casino's network. As I write this I seem to recall that may be the issue, with the 044 board it had to be on a network and the 3902 didn't.
Hope that helps explain it.
Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks, Jim

Ticket out works fine on an 044 machine but the candle blinks because it is looking for the backend server at the casino. You can always take the bulb out of the candle if the blinking bothers you.  I don't turn mine on since it can't take a ticket, so what good is printing tickets if you can't put them back into the machine.  Get yourself an 044 machine, the games are much better than 3902 and if you get a legacy adapter board you can even play the 3902 games in the machine so you get the best of both worlds.

Oh, there are no issues with having player tracking in the machine other than it's useless.

Great, Thanks
That was what I recall. You nailed it.
One more question... is $1750 a good price or a decent price for a 17" Crt monitor Igame with an 044 board?

Light blinking happens with Game King 5.3/3902.  Same 3902 with Game King 5.0, 4.3, or 4.0 does not produce blinking light.

At this time, I can beat the $1750 price on a couple of different themes in the 044 platform.

Which titles?
What I looking for is a 17" flat top cabinet with TITO using the 044 platform.
Thanks, Jim
