Make sure you have the power turned off FIRST before removing those.  They can pack quite a punch.   lightning bolt lightning bolt lightning bolt

when credits hit 775, 780 the hopper starts to pay out, it only pays what is hit on the reels . I thought it was not supposed to do this until 1000+

I'm guessing your hopper limit is probably set to 800 coins instead of 1,000, so any win that would push the credit meter over 800 (say, winning 30 credits when there are 775 on the meter) is getting paid out of the hopper to prevent your credits from exceeding 800.

I'm sure there's a way to set the hopper to whatever limit you want (1,000, 5,000, whatever), but I'm not terribly familiar with your specific machine.  Do you have the manual for it?  If not, it looks like it's available for a free download from the Rudy's Deals website (http://rudysdeals.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=54 ) -- look for the Bally ProSlot5500 manual.  The manual should explain how to change the hopper limit setting on your machine.

I sent him the manual, The hopper max pay can be set in the options. In the beginning of the manual is a whole section on setting the options, read thru it and decide what you want each to be. Then open the door and press the test button till you see 10d on the display and advance thru and change each option to where you want it to be. Pretty easy to do if you read a little about it first.
