Thanks again guys for all of your help. Swapped the static chips as kforeman suggested, powered the game back on, it said to press the test switch for 2-3 seconds, did that and waited for the game to reboot and "it's ALIVE it's ALIVE" Hopefully soon I will be able to help others with their machines as you guys always help me.

Manny thanks,

David

Did you check the printer?!? LOL I am sure that was it. Scratching the ram would have cleared that too!

WOOT! WOOT!  right on David, really glad that worked for you!  The Wave The Wave

@ MC: nice catch on the game probably being stuck attempting to cashout.  Cool Thumbs-Up  although we'll never know for sure if that was it; clearing RAM would have wiped all errors not just the cashout error.  i don't quite follow your sarcasm. wtf1  95% of the time this situation would have been resolved with some kind work on the printer, it was the most logical culprit because that is where he was working when the issue began. yes

Not sarcasm.

Just a question.

We all like to know if we were on the right track. I think that my failing was not also congratulating on the success of the repair regardless of the cause. Duh!

Sorry!

But good job guys!  applause(also not sarcasm)

I got the "closure/restart" message at the bottom of the screen again so I swapped the static chips around again and now it is working fine. Does someone know why this happened again with the "closure/restart" issue?

Thanks,

David

Normally you get the closure/restart after a power outage or when the machine is first turned on, next time just play a game instead of swapping chips and the message will go away

It would not let me do that because it would not take a bill in to put credits on the machine and I could not drop a coin since it is a coinless machine.
