I have a Bally's 5000 Plus that stopped taking coins about a year ago, coin would go straight thru to tray.  I was so frustrated I unplugged it and have left it setting unplugged for over a year.  I want to sell it now and would like to fix first rather than sell it as a "paperweight".  I plugged it in, all the lights work but it displays error "82" and the coins drops straight thru to tray.  How can I fix?  And any idea value as is and value if it is working?

Hay there Slotman,

Value wise- if working and cleaned up- I'd guess $200--300
As for your code 82.  Its been awhile since I worked on one but I think the 82 is a good code.  Close the door, hit the reset key and wallah!

Cheers,
Mark
