Denominations and such?

so i just recently thought of the idea to use the bill acceptor in my Ballys' S6000 Triple Money machine while waiting for an answer on free play and waiting for my new comparitor to come, and the strangest thing happened. I slid in a $100 bill and i got only 4 credits. how do i fix this?!

I'm not real good with the Bally 6000's, so I'll let someone else explain the clear and set procedures.
However it appears that the last person to setup the machine, set it as a 25 dollar machine not a quarter machine.
This would also explain the reason why the coin acceptor is not working.
Set it up at a quarter and I bet the coin acceptor will work.

okay thank you! and is that a for sure answer on the coin acceptor not working or just a possibility? im not really good at the machines myself, im just as good as the things i read and what people tell me

I don't think anyone here on this forum will tell you with a 100% accuracy that your coin comparator will work after you change the machine from a $25.00 dollar machine to a quarter.
However if the machine is set up at $25.00 it will not take any coin (unless it's tokenized), since it will be less than 1 credit. The machine can not accept bill or coins for a partial credit (less than one) this also means that the bill acceptor will not apply credits for $1.00, $5.00, $10.00 or $20.00 bills

PM me your e-mail address and I will send you the manual that explains the dip settings you need to do to get it to what coin you want. Also no changes to dip switches will take effect until you do a safe ram clear. So you will need clear chips if you don't have them.
