If I was ordering a  WBA 12 or 13, How would I know what software it needs? Many places like Rudy's states when you go to buy one, you need to tell them what kind of software you want. Is that just like telling them "latest software for the s2000 machines" or do I need to give them a specific version?

Nerver hurts to call or e-mail and ask them what they have for the S2000

3.80-34 is the latest for the IGT 024 protocol (Vision, S2000, I Game and Game King)

Luckily the new 100 was added before end of 2011, no new bills will be added but they will update if some one figures out how to get it to accept a counterfeit bill until end of 2012

Also to mention for those newbys

a WBA12 is a flash only and can not be upgraded with a replacement chip, you have to send it away to get flashed for an upgrade. not expensive but more down time. usually they are cheaper for this reason.
a WBA13 is the same unit with a replacable eprom for upgrades

IDO24 is for the IGT S2000 platform and IDO003 is for the Bally..latest for both is v3.80 and the new $100

if you need upgrades for any or all of the above, flash or not PM or E-mail me and I will get you to the right person for a member price !! applause applause.

Again a newbie here, but trying to upgrade things a bit on my s2000 vision Slingo. The BV says WBA 10ss. Can I simply upgrade to a WBA 13? Is it merely obtainiong and swapping parts, or is there a software, clear chip reprogramming to be done. I would assume I need a whole new complete BV , with transport and matching cash box. Is this a difficult replacement and does anyone have a video link for it?

Thanks in advance

The easiest way is just buy a 12/13 Head and Transport and a machine side pigtail harness for the connection at the rear of the BV, you just remove the 4 screws that hold the frame in and unhook the old harness connection and replace with new items, very easy and may be a video out there, takes 15 min if you haven't done it before. No Keychip needed, you will just need to open your door and close it to clear an error message for BV CRC Mismatch after it detects new software

The Frame is the item that holds the cash box and head & transport, it is simply held in by 4 screws 2 on left outer side of the Housing (the item that had the door) and 2 in the back, btw not all 4 screws are always put back if it has been removed before

Thanks Ed. You stated 12/13, does that mean either or? or is the head a 12 and the transport 13. What do I need to pay attention to with regards to the software on the new unit? Just ask for the latest? and who would I purchase from- ebay? or a recommendation

12 flash upgrade, 13 is removable eprom upgrade, otherwise the same. For Igt you need software id024 and ver 3.80 is the newest.

You need the SS type, that refers to the bill stacker type. PM SENT
