Just curious if anyone had some advice on error code 42 blink 1 (Improper spin reel two). It appears that the sensor light all but one are lit on the board for reel two. I can take a picture of the sensor boards if that would help. That seems like the issue but I don't know if that needs to be replaced and if so were to get those boards.

all the lamps HAVE to be lit for the reel reader to send the binary code back to the processor. so that would appear to be your problem.  those bulbs are small incandescent  5 volt.

you might contact FOXSSLOTS1 a member on NLG, he may have the replacement board you need.Or he may be able to repair yours.

your machine is not a 831, an 831 is strictly a electromechanical  machine. you probably have a Bally E-series machine, either a e-1000, or an e-2000.  plate on side of machine where handle is located might tell you the information. If not the main cpu board mounted on the left side wall of the machine, if it has a piggyback ram board, then it is a e-1000 machine.

Hope this helps

I can do a repair of your reel reader, or do an exchange with one already repaired. Repair cost is $15 plus shipping.
