How can I access File download section ?

How can I access File download section ?
The site asks me for a user and password.
i use my credentials but it does not work.
How do i do ?

I have aalso been locked out of there forever.  I hear you have to make 25 posts, but I am well over 100, and no getting there.  I think it must be a well kept secret amongst the long time people here.

Truth is I don't remember the pass word. But this is every thing that's in there. If you see something you need speak up and I'll get it for you. Now take a look at the dates these were posted and you will see it's not something that is used very often !!

There is no file download section any longer.

When the site was formed we used to keep manuals, tech bulllitens, handy reference guides some of our members made etc.
At no time have we ever kept binaries or other rom type files. The above can be covered by "fair use policy" like that of a library but the latter cannot.

However no good deed goes unpunished...

Our first problem was when people were uploading all sorts of exe's and other virus ridden files, PDFs with payloads we restricted the types of files and did a better scan on the upload.
Then there was the people who thought overwriting existing files with Porn and other crap was fun....
Then we had a couple of folks that decided that this was a good location to found their ebay manual business from, one as bold as to simply pass people links once they won his auction.
We tried a couple of things like enforcing a 10 post rule but this then became more hassle than it was worth.

Finally we purged our motherload and used to use it for members to help members by passing files (too big to email) but this was throught with problems similar to above......

You can always post under members request and some other kind sole may pass it to you. For large files we suggest File-Dropper, membership is free.

Not anymore...

I'm in the middle of an Aristocrat recovery program, how could i get all the files that are about Aristocrat machines ?

I'm trying to fix some Aristocrat MK2.5 video poker machines.
Anybody has a manual ?
I only found the Aristocrat Microstar Reel manual.
