I have  a S+ that wont hold credits, when i turn it on the cash out button is on, after it goes through set up the button turns off.  When you put in coins they fall through, when i put in bills it kicks the coins out?  But if i turn the button back on (LIT) it will take coins and bills without the machine kicking out quarters?  Shouldn't the cash out button stay lit and only cash out if you press it?  Any help would be appreciaited.  Thanks Mike

Is there a setting for the cash out button to stay lit? And make every coin or bill in go to the credit window until you hit the cash out button?

I believe that's something that is set up in the menu, if the Sp chip you have allows for it. Otherwise, you would just have to turn it back on each time...Can you tell us whatbSP chip your game has?

We will wait and see if someone can't chime in and verify though.

It's changable by settings -- what you're describing is one of the settings ("player-initiated credit").  We really need to know what SP chip you have in the machine to give you accurate directions on how to force all bills and wins to credits (which is what it sounds like you want) -- the settings vary by SP chip.

Once you have access to the machine, please follow these directions to determine the SP chip in your machine, and then let us know what you have.  We'll be able to walk you through the settings from there.
