Hate to start from ground zero on a message board with a dumb question, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the settings for a S+ series machine to load credits. In other words, the machine now just spits out the tokens when bills are entered. It will hold the credits if the cash out button is lit, but sometimes we forget and it just starts unloading the tokens. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Welcome to the site!

 NLG Welcome

Please let us know what SP chip is in your machine by following the directions linked here, and we can walk you through the setting(s) you need to change to force all bills to credits, regardless of the state of the Cash/Credit (or "Cash Out") button.

Hijacking an earlier thread because I have the same problem.

I have a Super Joker 3CM that is paying out coins rather than accumulating credits.  I cycled the self-test to position 4 and the Winner Paid reads 3410... how do I go about setting it to accumulate credits rather than paying out coins all the time?

Thanks!

Check to see if your BV is on.
Bill Acceptor Enabled/Disabled Display.
self test position <0> Option [9]   Indicates if the bill acceptor is enabled {1} or disabled {0}.

winner paid should be 9--1 and credit window 0

3410 is your SS chip number (92.6% payback, BTW, per the IGT bible). We need the other number - the SP chip number - to know what the operating system of sorts is for your machine.
