I had a similar problem and it was a bad ram chip in the board . I thought it was the board and swapped all the chips and they worked . I finally changed the ram 1 at a time and the board woke up . just a idea.  I would normally say you have nothing to loose but you already lost . good luck P.B.

Put other mother board in , same thing, button lights come on but do not work.
guess the next thing will be to start swapping out parts. Have to go in van trailer tomorrow & look for parts. (no lights in there)

Something I had someone else on here try, and the machine started working.
unplug all the stuff in the top box at the connectors in the bottom of the top box.
found out he had an issue with the candle wiring.
might even try disconnecting the accounting meters, handle solenoid, and switch and disconnect the W-2G (second jackpot reset switch) if it has one.

All player interaction with the machine is done via the Door I/O or Cabinet I/O(SENET), except for the  BiV and VFD (netplex) and whatever bonus game parts use.

Ford, this is going to sound really weird, but I ran into a problem that I could faithfully reproduce.  If I have a my 3CM Double Diamond Deluxe kit in, and try to perform a key clear with a 3CM Crystal Sevens (which is the same game as Sizzling Seven Times Pay), I would get strange results.  Doesn't happen with any other game except Crystal Sevens.

Did you try to key/clear the game with a different game/SB and perhaps a different key/clear chip if you have one?

I know what you're refering to Jason. Those Crystal Sevens games are a pain in the ass for game changing

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL.
This is one machine I will not sell for now.
I've unhooking & hooking up things - swapping out. Had guts in & out about 6 times.
Every time do a clear & key.
All @ once it worked.
I think it's around mother board but not sure. When get time going to try & get it to actup again.
I know it was not a harness that was not plugged in all the way.
When I get back to it I'll let you know what I find.
Have to much other work to get caught up on for now.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP

I’ve been thinking of what I did.
I was doing everything I could.
I did a jump on bet max button a few times & it came up rams wrong. (don't ask me why other than button's did not work so I jumped it)
Key switch did not want to do anything for about 6 or so turns, then it started to go thru display like it’s supposed to do.
Did a key again & buttons worked.
Not sure if that is what did it.
