I think I saw this a few nights back when perusing the boards.  I have two machines that are set to single denomination but currently have .25 stickers over the multi display area.  I'm waiting on some new multi denom stickers but in the mean time the the lights behind the .25 sticker still go thru the rotation of the four multi denom locations, would like to set it for the time being so it does not rotate like that and is just a steady light.  Once I get my new chip for the DRWB and the new denom stickers then I'll set both machines up for multi denom and this will no longer be a issue.  Just trying to figure out if it is possible and learn something new.

Thanks,
Mike

yeah. just go to the last option 1,2,3,4. but it will look a little funny if the dividers are in place. you'll have to key chip it also to change the options

not true   there are other parts , like white plastic that goes between prices of play, lights will work but  you can,t change play price without them

Seriously??? The little white plastic pieces HAVE to be in place? I'm about to go tear up a MD display on a machine to find out! They are just plastic, how can they affect anything I wonder.

White plastic dividers do not have to be there in order for multidenom to work. I have 5 MD S2000 machines without the dividers and they all switch between denoms just fine

When the guy that sold me the machine set it up, we wanted a .25 machine with a hopper.  He removed the multi denom sticker and put in a .25 sticker, took the dividers out of the MD box as well as the touch pad, I have those pieces.  But behind the .25 sticker you can still see the lights rotating from one spot to the other, while its not a show stopper by any means it does appear to be non-standard and some of us just have to have things as close to perfect as possible Smiley  Ros at CVslots is getting me some larger denom stickers for my two machines and a new SB100055 chip so that I can key chip them and put them back to normal with the MD panels in tact.  My goal here was to figure out how to stop the light rotation in the mean time.

The glass on the front has the MD labeling so its only right to put it back to as orig as possible.

I want to personally thank all of you for your patience with me.  I am learning as fast as I can but once you hit my age 51+ it takes a little longer.  These are hobbies but if the herd grows much larger (currently 7) I may have to rethink this Smiley  Already have two more on my radar, Triple Double Wild Cherry and a Game King.

Mike - We've had machines with the same thing. The light keeps rotating and drives you crazy. You can't stop it until the MD is enabled in the menu and then a denom is selectable.

To make them work, I'm told you need these two pieces as well as to setup the keypad using a Key Chip (which is something I still need to figure out).

You can make it stop rotating and have a fully lit shadow box by putting a single denom version chip in, that's it

I guess that makes sense.  So would need to take out the VS011GX1 and replace with a VS011GX0.  I guess I'll just live with it until I can get them put back like they should be.

Yeah, slotsteve, that cable fits thru the hole in the shadow box and plugs into the plug on the back of the box, then the panel goes between the shadow box and the glass and the MD sticker sits between the glass and that panel.  Then the whole key chip and setup.  With the help of all you nice folks on here I'm figuring this out as I go.

Thanks again everyone.

other way yes.  set up one denomination only and set up touch pad to show 1,2,3,4   you will have to take out the dividers for it to look right

this is perfectly fine for home use but where you have to have the accounting denom set for 1 cent the version chip has to be multi denom for casino slot accounting software
