Happiness in life is a great dog

« on: November 01, 2012, 08:58:01 PM »

That is the question. I understand wanting to have games just like the casino, been there/done that and switched them all back to single denom, but I want to find out why others spend the money and go to the hassle of having this feature. It was cool for a short time, but I never played anything other than the highest available denom. I'd like to know what the attraction is for you guys and what your feelings are either for or against. Thanks for the input...

Biggest reason...because we can.  Smiley

I switch around too.  If I'm winning, I'll switch to the higher denoms to try and lock up the machine.

I llike to mix it up a bit.  I will always start with the $1 denomination and occasionally hit the $5 denomination.  If I hit something, then I will stay with the $5 until I start running low on credits, then I will drop back to $1 or lower depending on the credit balance.
I wish my local Casino had more multi-denomination machines.  They have very few.

My reason is simple but probably stupid at the same time.  The reel glass shows that it had multi denomination capability at one point and if it says it I want it Smiley  A new reel glass would probably be much cheaper but since I already had the majority of the parts it just seems like the thing to do.  Plus guys like gadgets and if I can get it working thats just one more cool gadget my machine has Smiley  Personal taste I guess.  Its kinda like the printer, until the bettor TITO came out even the printer was kinda silly but I still wanted it.  Now if I could just figure out how to change the writing on the tickets Smiley  I'll order the tito thingy and life will be good.

my reason is cuz when i wanna play with tickets ill play at $100 and if i wanna play with cash ill play $25 denom and if i wanna play the lowest percentage 87% ill play the $50 denom...... the only thing i dont understand is why did igt make denom decals with the same denom?? my machine wont let me set 2 denoms as the same amount of $25..... so i set the 1st denom $25, the 2nd denom to $50, the 3rd denom to $100 and disabled the fourth denom....... the good thing i noticed with just using 3 denoms the machine will not reset itself to the lowest denom on idle with no credits..... before using all 4 denoms it always went back to the lowest denom on idle......

Staz,

For your machine you set 3 denoms.

The touch pad can be configured so that a column or row is one denom
in your case the player 1 denom  ($25) should be configured for buttons 1 and 3
player 2 denom ($50 for button 2
player 3 denom ($100) button 4

Also Staz you can configure all denoms to have the same payout as well.

I doubt a high denom machine in a casino is below 92% most likely over 95%.

Staz, you need to rock this bad boy in your machine...especially since you're running TITO.

Seriously, has anybody seen a game running this multi-denom tag in a casino?

Thanks,
Jason

Those do look like some nice machines you folks have, little high denom for my wallet Smiley  My chip and stickers are on the way thanks to Ros at CVSlots so my two S2000s should hopefully be good in a few days.  I just noticed my two blue ghosts went away and now I'm a contributor Smiley  Now, what does it take to get to that gold status?  Reminds me of that episode of Frasier with the silver, gold and plat doors.

Jason, make that jacket a XL please.

Love this site and all the great folks,
Mike
