I have an IGT S2000 machine. Two weeks ago, I had a "Low Main Battery" error....I installed a new battery and the machine worked well for several days. Yesterday, when I turned the machine on....the message re-appeared...I tested the battery and instead of 3 volts...it was less than 1 volt....

Does anyone have any ideas about why the battery was drained so quickly?

Any trouble-shooting ideas are appreciated....

Crappy new battery or a solder short from installation possibly

Are you talking about the coin battery or the green CMOS battery?
