Hi I have a Game King with 5.3 version software and blackjack doesn't give me the option to double down or split cards is there a setting that I'm missing, I've looked in the game setup menu and can't seem to find where it is.

Thank You and  Merry Christmas to all

Hmm ... I'm running 4.3 and I have the options you're looking for (Let It Ride, Double Down, Split, etc.), but in the menus, there is no way to set them - they're just part of the game.  I'm guessing it must be a game-by-game feature.

I'm posting pictures as well.

Let It Ride

4.3 is the one with 50-something poker games plus Black Jack, 3 Keno's and 2 slots.

Like you, I couldn't find any way to change these options except for the Let It Ride limit.

Must be a specific game version feature? Scratch Head

Hope the pictures help.

Merry Christmas to you too.

I'm speaking out of my rear right now, but I think that the payback percentage program you select when you keychip and configure the machine determines the split and double down availability. Aside from altering the payout for a blackjack, those options would be the only way to alter the payout.

Bottom line, if you enable the highest payback program, you'll have more options when you play.

Hi I have the payout percentage set as high as it will go but it won't show up in the icons on the bottom of the screen just blank icons where the double down or the split should be.

Thanks

Give me a little time today and I'll burn a set of 5.3 software and see what it does.  In looking it can be one of two base chips  M0000945 or M0000944,  which one do you have ??

Well I've got nothing to compare to your game. The only thing we have that's the same is the DSS00589 here is what I have.  Base M00094                  Base  M0000945
                                                                                                                                                                                 Game G0003635             Game G0002123
                                                                                                                                                                                 CGF C0001113
                                                                                                                                                                                 PXL C0001113
                                                                                                                                                                                 Sound DSS00589

CGF and PXL are the same on both Games.

Just as soon as I finish making Fudge, peanut brittle, cookies, and Banana pudding I'll make up one of these games and see if it acts like you want.

Which list ? The one I have or cartman's ??   Scratch Head Scratch Head I don't recall ever seeing more than one Black Jack Game on any machine. I really never gave it a whole lot of thought. As you can guess I'm not a Black Jack player. I prefer 3/5 play poker.

Hey Buzz,

I'm pretty sure LeapYearGuy is referring to Cartman's game set because my Black Jack (which I think is the same as yours) is games BJ5, BJ7, BJ8 and BJ9 and all of mine allow the options that Cartman's looking for.

As I thought and I think LeapYearGuy just confirmed, Cartman is going to have to get another game set with Blackjack that has those options enabled.

:Dave

[edit] I'm using BJ7 and BJ8 (according to my screen shots) [/edit]

cartman765  OK I made a 5.3 game set using M000944 base chip and installed it. It does have double up and split cards. Has a total of 55 games and none of them is a reel game. ( Only one Black Jack ) Dumb ass me I thought there was only one way to play Black Jack !!
