Hey all,

It's always a blast when you can pick up a Game King 5.0 set for the price of a Game King 4.0 set...we'll just leave it at that for now.  Somebody didn't know what they had.  Anyway, I've been playing 5.3, 4.3, 4.0 for the past year...all great games.  I've known about 5.0 and have seen the game list, but I've never played it in a casino, nor have I been able to find any photos or video footage of it anywhere on the internet.  Well, for those of you that are also on the fence about this game, but are reluctant to buy it until you see it in action, take a gander below.

Solid game and I have yet to find any strange bugs...imagine that!!   Cry Laughing  I have found little anomalies here and there with the other versions, but this one seems to be the King of the Game Kings in terms of graphics, sounds, software setup, etc...well, at least in the 5.x family.  6.x will be the next chapter!

The video footage has been posted.  Smiley

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture the bonus rounds of any of the games...bad luck tonight I guess.   rotflmao  I'll try again this weekend and add it to the thread.

Interesting variations.

For fun, I analyzed the 10 spot Power Keno which was the only one with a "hard coded" rule variation in the picture.

As posted, it pays back 93.961% with 54.944% coming from the 4x bonus wins (that includes the base pay in those wins) and only 39.016% coming from standard wins. Without the bonus feature that pay table would pay back only 52.753%.

I can't analyze the Cave Man keno without knowing all of the possible multipliers possible from the eggs, and only if the number of eggs that appears is constant or the odds of them appearing (and how many) can be determined. I'd also have to know if their placement is random and done before the draw and if they can be placed on numbers the player has chosen or not.

The Cleopatra Keno screen shot doesn't reveal anything about the bonus (although the odds of getting it are the same as those for Power Keno), so I can't analyze that game, either. Tongue Out

Thanks for posting the video and the pics. applause  +1 (Karma, or whatever)

Why did they have to do away with Diamond Mine and Black Rhino?

Caveman Keno has been around for a good long while.  Once the player presses Deal/Spin, the game places exactly three "eggs" at random on the remaining empty squares (it will not place an egg on a player selected number).  If two of the eggs are hit, all wins are at 4x.  If all three eggs are hit, all wins are at 10x.

Before you go crunching the numbers, it has already been done by the Wizard of Odds:

I have 5.0 in my machine right now. Nice variety of slot/keno/poker, but at the expense of more poker games. The 5.3 has a wider variety of poker and I'm about ready to switch to the 5.3 for a change of pace.

I'm sure Stat will check Wizard of Odds' math anyways.  Tongue Out

Nice pics!

All I know is that the bonus round on Super 8 Race is super rare.  When it did finally hit on my machine, it was a HUGE bonus payout.

Merry Christmas! Smiley

I own old (maybe 3.0) game king, 31 games on it.

It comes to my mind... Does any 5.x have black jack game?

What games can I use in my GK and where I can buy them (need shipping outside to USA)?
Does anybody have the list?

Thank you for your replies   Crazy

5.0 looks great.
I believe I'm running 4.3.
My question is, if I decide to switch to 5.0 sometime, is there a way to change programs without losing all the previous accounting from all the play I've done on 4.3?
So far I've run about $175,000 through my GK and periodically like to see how much of a degenerate I've become.
Thanks, Jim

From my understanding, there is no way to carry over your accounting as all of the memory will need to be cleared in order for the new game to be able to use it.
