I need to order ram clear chips and battery for my Bally machine.

Before I put in a order I want to confirm what model machine I have and which clear chips are required for my machine.

Manufactured  October  2003.  Serial number  S031036691     Model S63M3CBQ0    Game  Double 7 jackpot

error code is 8100  and all the buttons on the machine is flashing.

I have talked to Wayne on the phone.  He is willing to fix my machine but I have decided I would like the expierence to fix it myself.  I would like to have the learning expierence.  I have checked his web site to buy the parts but don't see any parts listed for sale.

I have checked other web sites for parts and you can buy clear chips or 6000 mains.  Not sure which chips to buy because I have read the mains take the place of the clear chips.

If you want to print tickets it has to be a 2003 set of mains & they are NOT leave in. If you use a newer set that are leave in, your printer will not work.

This machine has no coin slot or hopper so I should make sure the ticket printer keeps working.  Even just to keep the machine's re-sale value up.

Is there an article on this forum which I can down load information on do's and don'ts in reguards which chips to use for a 6000 machine?  Do the clear chips matter by year of the machine or do all 6000 machines use the exact same clear chips?

Then you want to use the 2003 mains & they use a clear that is not a leave in.
Year machine does not make a difference.
Merry Christmas to you & your family
