Hi,

Great Help here! Thank you for getting my Fathers IGT S-Plus Wild Cherry back and running after a battery failure. I have run the gauntlet with RAM clears, set chips, hopper optics, knifes and coin comparators to getting the DBV to work. I'm at the point where I have it working ALMOST normally, except , when some credits have accumulated, pressing the "bet one credit" button causes, it to spit out the credits from the hopper stash.

Is this normal? It caused me great grief because of all the hopper errors I have fixed, but now it usually can finish quarter dump without the 3200 error code, but I don't like it , or think its normal.
While I love my Dad, it is getting tiresome every time he calls about this machine.

The only thing I can think of is that I disconnected one wire from the "pay Out" button awhile back,in a easy fix effort to quell the payout hopper errors. As in - no button-no error. That didn't work out well. Now I wonder if I put the wire back on the right terminal.I think I did, but the schematic I have is not clear on it.

Thank you for any help with this.
Regards,
Alex

Can anyone provide a clear picture of the left side button array from underneath?
Mabey that will help me determine that the wires are in the correct positions.

Thanks again!

Hey alex....those last couple of buttons should have the exact same colored wiring as the other button switches on the other side...
just copy how those ones are hooked up.   propeller

I was going to take a pic, but it is too close and complicated of a pic to do you any good. So.... On the bottom of my Wild Cherry bet one credit button, with the switch in the installed position and me looking at the back of the open door.....

2 green wires go to the bottom terminal
blue with a white tracer go to the left terminal
2 blue wires go to the right terminal
yellow with a red tracer go to the lower terminal on front side
there is nothing to connected to front upper terminal.

Thank you so much! I won't be back to the machine until Monday to try it.
I removed the wire from "cash out" button though.
A description of its wiring would be most helpful too.

Thanks again , guys!

Alex.

My cash out buton actually says "cash/credit".  Same thing as the other description.  Switch in postion standning behind the open door.

2 green to the bottom
2 blue to the right
1 blue with yellow tracer on the left
1 red to UPPER Terminal
Lower terminal is unused.

Good luck

Cry Laughing Cry Laughing Cry Laughing Now that's funny, because earlier today I used the word "now" instead of "not" in a PM to Bunker!  frying pan

So I guess the two errors cancel each other out. Crazy
