Hey All,

I am constantly having to clear coin jambs from the coin comparitor..  They get stick in the comparitor itself, I have to flip the gate to the overflow position and it releases the coin.  Every couple of minutes this is happening..

Any ideas what causes this and how to fix it?

I am using double cherry tokens..

Thanks!

Have you removed the thumbscrew weight from the swing arm at the entry to the comparitor?

At one point I did, but I reinstalled it because the previous reason I removed it turned out to not have anything to do with the thumb weight.

I guess I can remove it again and see if that helps..

Thanks,

Unless your rake inside the comparitor is messed up there's really nothing else to jam the coins up in there. Only problem I've ever had using tokens was the weight. Do you have a different comparitor you can try?

Bingo!  I removed the thumb weight and so far no more jambs,  I dumped a bunch of coins in and no jambs.

Thanks!
