My guess is that its in the set up but..., the accounting meter on my multi-denom I Game (which is set from Pennies to Dollars) runs for hours after playing for a bit. I'm pretty sure it's set up for each accounting unit as a penny because I thought that was how it needed to be if I wanted to play at the Penny level but this can't be right.
Can the accounting unit be a Dollar and still play at the Penny level?
If so, do I just need to key it and change it to a buck?
Thanks, Jim

Accounting needs to be set at the lowest demonation you could play . If lowest is a dollar than set accounting at that but you can't play anything lower than the dollar only higher

So if I play at the $.25 level max bet for 30 minutes, the meter is supposed to run for hours trying to catch up or keep up?
That just really seems odd. My Game King doesn't do that although it has denom set from $.01 to $5.00. I'm not sure what the accounting unit is set for in the GK because I never had to mess with it.
Thanks, Jim

Simplest thing is to just unplug and bypass the meters altogether with a jumper

as suggested you can jump the plug that connects to the meter and won't have to listen to the noise. pics attached

Well then it looks like I did have it set up correctly afterall.
It also looks like I'll be jumping the connector.
Thanks for the help, Jim

Great post! applause

+1 (Karma, or whatever) to all for the great suggestions too.

My machine is set as low a 1 cent denom, but I play on $25 denom at 80 coins a pop (yes, $2000 a hand thanks to tickets) and my meters haven't stopped since.  It would probably take weeks of leaving the machine on before they stop, so I think I'll bypass them as suggested.

Thanks!

This mod should be a requirement for home use.  That clicking noise would have driven me insane.

Some softwares has the option, at the same page you set the denomination, for the mechanical meters to count AU or dollars.
