Have a client with an AVP Upright, 2.0.  For some reason, the reset key does not work/register.  And all the doors register open, even though closed - main door, BV box door, etc..

He has changed boards, harnesses, IO, power supplies, etc.  Scratch Head I would have thought was a backplane issue or brain box issue, be he says these have been changed.  frying pan

Anyone have any other ideas?

Was the I/O card, the one located inside the 2.0 brain box replaced too?
This board also has a battery on it. Check to see if the battery is good.
Are the Boot roms in the Brain Box the proper ones for the game on the hard drive?
Has he tried clearing the machine using the proper e-key and then re-setting up the machine?
Could be a corrupt hard drive.

trace the wires back to the motherboard and see if its plugged in. real easy to accidentally unplug the switch when working in that area. g/l
