My Double Cherry Bar doesn't get much play because it sits next to my Williams Jackpot party.  What S+ 3 wheel slot game can compete with the attention that the Williams gets? What would you put next to Jackpot party?

I rotate between my three machines, Jackpot Stampede Deluxe, Round Top Double Diamond and 9" Double Dollar. Turn one on and it gets played until it hits a jackpot , turn it off and on to the next one. They all get played and I won't go crazy with all three machines on begging for 'play max bet' at once. I'd be running back and forth and slide into slot machine mental illness much , much quicker! At least they all get played!

I have never owned either one, but here is my 2-cents anyways;

Sounds like an apple to oranges comparison. Standard S+ has no bonus gimmick.
As far as the S+ goes, Haywire Deluxe is one of the best. IMO
An IGT-Barcrest would get my attention before a WMS dotmation. Also, IGT Vision series are nice too. "Fox and the Hound" come to mind.

This opinnion is based upon my experiences in extensive casino slot games research.   rotflmao

First, I would agree with Uniman about the Barcrest or Vision. If you're looking to stay with an S+ kit, then, again I would somewhat agree with Uniman about the Haywire Deluxe as one option. However, from my home game room experience (and yes, I have a Jackpot Party, several S+ machines and discriminating friends bust gut laughing) I would look at a Red White & Blue 5 Line kit or a Triple Diamond 9-Line kit. Both have drawn the attention of my guests as much as my JP because they both have frequent and juicy payouts.

Be forewarned, however, that all three S-Plus kits mentioned here are some of the rarest and most sought after. You may get lucky and find them, or you might end up having to have reproductions made.

P.S. I also have had a Double Dollars 5-Bar/Cherry (with the yellow 5 over bar) installed that my friends really liked because it seemed to hit those yellow 5's for 100 & 200 coins (2cm straight or with one double symbol) fairly often. That kit won't be that hard to find, but isn't in the same class as those mentioned above.

Uniman and Statfreak have both hit the nail on the head.  I can say from personal experience as I have 4 Barcrest machines and a Vision ( sold my S+'s).   Once you get a BONUS type game(s); an S+ will get played very infrequently.  It's like comparing a Corvette and a Cavalier; which would you rather drive ?   So either you sell the S+  and put the money towards a Vision machine or BARCREST ( the best machines to own IMO). If you should opt for a Vision; make sure you get a good theme ( Foxn' Hound, Ms. Little Green Men, Pinball ( my personal favorite Vision game). The nice thing about the Visions is that you can change the game out; similar to an S+.   If you go for the Gold and opt for a BARCREST machine; the better themes to get are Pinball  and Top Dollar. ( also the most expensive)  less expensive would be Little Devil,  Run for your money, etc.    ...... Back to the matter at hane. If you decide the keep the S+  and get another kit or 2 ;  I would recommend a 4th of July,  Coral Reef , Haywire Deluxe( all are a bit pricey).  Any 5 line game would be an nice upgrade. I would even rec ommend a Double Diamond Deluxe ( classic game and still alot of fun to play).  .. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative ; try Triple Double, Triple Play ( same as Satellite..cool game), River Gambler, Triple Cherry or any Delexe game.   Hope this helpsyou out. Sorry If I rambled on a bit.  Bill

I happen to like the looks of Double Cherry Bar...it's a pretty game and simple too understand...Girls really like it.
The most fun S+ in my book is the Double Diamond Haywire Deluxe...it's got crazy reels re-spinning...
I'd like to get that in the S2000 version w/the back lit reels too.
The newer ones (Vison, Barcrest, etc) are cool too...but if you want graphics, then go with modern VGA 25 liners.
If you want a classic S+ game, get an "Red, White, and Blue" game like a  "4th Of July".
These are THE patriotic american slot machines made in the U.S.A. with parts from china Tongue Out

All helpful post, thanks.  My game room still needs a video poker and an early antique slot machine something like a Jennings only without the cost.  Oh and my daughter wants a claw machine. No accounting for taste.  If only my budget holds out. rotflmao
