If your machine has a comparitor then you would change the coin to a U.S. coin, The bill acceptor would need the correct software and head.  I will p.m. you regarding more on this.

Thanks,
Wayne

If the bill acceptor is already Canadian, you should be able to get away with leaving the transport and cash box as they are and using a US bill head, because US currency is slightly narrower than Canadian (but not too much so). This might require some slight modifications but I've done it on a Canadian Wms Dotmation machine and had no problems.

I don't know the specifics for your machine. Wayne can probably help you. You might want to post the type of bill validator that you currently have in the machine and a couple of pictures.

I just finished changing a Bally 5500 from a Canadian to an American acceptor.

I had to replace the housing that held the cash can, the cash can, the bill stacker( because it had an extra pigtail coming from it going to the back of the cba-135), The bill head it self , the side mount interface board, ( did away with it and plugged directly into the validator)  the led board,

And because it was a Bally  the 200 head had to be a 200SG type with bally ido 044 protacol  software.  I didn't change the front panel (opening in the door) because the gap wasn't that noticeable.   About one hour later and it was finished.

So I have a complete setup for a Bally 5500 Canadian
