Japanese Company formerly know as Universal. They also swallowed Sigma and Pacific gaming along the way.

What model is it? PSU's are a bit of a issue on this platform and it ocassionally takes the CPU board with it. There may be a few posts in the universal section. Have not really seen these available for home users so parts may be a issue.

Very cool good to know.  Thank you.  He was looking at the Innovator system (4 Chinese Beasts).  Looks brand new so I'm assuming even if one was found it would be really expensive.  I'm trying to tell him to get a Bluebird or a IGT I+ so then we can swap games  LOL.

Did some CPU repairs on the boards before.
Usually just recapping the five 1500uf 16V capacitors will bring back the CPU.
However the blue CPU boards use lead free solder and can be a pain.
As far as the manual goes, there is one but it literally has nothing helpfull inside.
doesn't even cover the clear procedures, which is done with a jumper.

Sorry that's all I have on them.

I saw two Aruze machines at the casino yesterday with four slot techs standing around scratching their heads. Both machines were malfunctioning.  rotflmao

For the most part though they seem to function ok. The games have a real japanese flavor to them.

Aruze machines are still pretty new to the states, don't see them availble for home use for awhile.-

Funny thing I was in our casino this week and they had a new Aruze machine and there were three techs sitting there staring at it trying to get it to work.  LOL

Aruze are good machines and rarely mess up. Stay away from the one's that have 7's in the title. They take money when in the bonus and it makes the customers mad. We have both upright and slant top games made from Aruze. If you ever have problems ask and I might be able to help.
