Hello

I was installing my new game last night and I was putting the one chip game board in the wrong spot.   I didn't know there was a another port (highlighed in blue) under the sound card as it was under a really big board that plugs into the two spots (circled in red).  What the heck is that big board do that sits in those two plugs?

I'm just curious I want to learn about these things as much as possible.

Sorry will have to upload photo from home, the work computer won't let me.

Thanks all

The larger board that's about a third of the size of your main board is a multimedia sound board (MM1 or MM2).  It will either have 2 EPROMS on it or 1 SIMM on it.

Cool thank you (now I don't have to add the photo when I get home)!  I was just curious what it was.  I like to know what I'm removing and moving around.
