17" game king,  3902 cpu ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠

power up, get usual game initializing message on screen, some color patterns than it goes back to initializing message,
left machine on for 20 minutes and game initializing message keeps repeating,  won't start up, tried keying cpu,  -no help. even swapped with a good CPU board.

i called my friendly G-K tech in Vegas,  he said power supply problems,  swapped p/s from another G-K everything came up fine.  now i have to troubleshoot this p/s

tested suspected p/s voltage, (24v and 12v unloaded.)  upon inspection,  most 6800uf 2200uf, one small 100uf cap are bloated, so i'm thinking the voltage is either not carrying the amperage required or not switching correctly,

gonna do a recap, to see if it resurrects this p/s,  however should i just replace the bloating culprits in the corner or just do them all,  anything else i should look at while i have it open? probably step caps up from 16v to 25v if i have enough room. ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠

I would do all the small caps but I think that
the big one at the other end may be OK.

For some reason I'm thinking a S 2000 and a Game King use the same power supply. If that's correct look at this thread, if I'm wrong it's still good reading.
