I recently bought "Price Check" from a vendor and there's something about the game play that doesn't seem quite right.  For instance, I've won the Price Check bonus many times and each time I select a product, the cashier makes a comment about a different product.  In this video you'll see that I picked a shop vac, but the cashier talks about Maximo light bulbs, etc.  Also, when there is a price check, the numbers shouted by people always differ from the numbers appearing on the screen.  That seems very odd to me.  I don't think it should be that way.  Can anyone confirm my suspicions?  Do you know what the problem might be?

I haven't played Price Check often enough in Vegas to know all the sounds the game should make, but I was also surprised there wasn't a lot of sound during normal game play.  At the end of the bonus round, I played a few more spins and you'll note that the only faint sound the game makes on losing spins is reels falling into place.  Perhaps this is proper?  Can anyone familiar with this game tell me if this is normal?

Thanks for your help!

Thank you!  I did see that video and it seems to me the cashier should be talking about the items selected and the amounts appearing on the screen should match what's being called out.  Does anyone know why my software is different?  Has anyone ever seen these "errors" before?  Is there a way to correct it or do I simply have bad software?

One thing I haven't been able to find is video of normal game play since most of the videos on youtube are of bonus rounds.  Can anyone that owns or sells this game please let me know if my minimal sound matches the real thing?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks Jim.

The base eprom has a handwritten "Base 755" sticker.

The game eproms have handwritten "Game 2 1031" and "Game 1 1031" stickers.

The card closest to the base eprom is PXLF3....2 of 4....C0000597.  The middle card is PXLF4....3 of 4.....C0000969.  The card furthest from the base eprom is PXLF3....2 of 2....C0001596.

My set uses simms with C0000601.  However, yours are all mixed up.  The CGF and PXLF simms should all have the same number.  You have the wrong PXLF simms
