I need HELP!
Just got an IGT Video slot. It's a Kenny Rogers "The Gambler". My problem is...... it will not print a ticket. It gives a message to Call Attendant for a hand pay. Pressing the white test button, I was able to get to a screen that says that the printer is disabled, but there is no way on that screen to enable it. What can I do to make the printer work? The ID plate on the side of the machine has been removed. The only thing that I can find is Model 2068-A on the main board.

I believe you need to key chip it to access that setting.  Use key 40 and you just want to access the key chip menu, not reset the whole thing.  You will want no credits on the machine first.  Then, key it and you can enable the printer and set the name/address of your casino.  If you don't have key 40, you can post a WTB.

Tickets are great ... that's all I use.  You may also want to consider buying Bettor TITO or similar TITO device so you can reinsert the ticket after you print it.  That's a LOT of fun.  I have Bettor TITO and love it.

Thanks for the info. So.....is the key 40 the only one that will work? I have a key 31, but guess that won't cut it, huh?
I was able change the name and address for the ticket and print out a demo ticket without using a key chip, but it still won't print a ticket on cash out.

I don't believe 31 will work.  Either 40, 22 or 17 (doing this from memory).
