I've seen 13" Game Kings with lights behind the insert bills arrow on the front door. Mine doesn't have that but I'm thinking I might like to install one.
Does anyone know what I'll need (part#/#'s) and where to get it? Rudy's deal has something that looks like what I might need but I'm not sure. It lists a p/n as 19930500.
Thanks in advance, Jim

Hi Jim, yeah, that's the one.  It screws onto the door and the plastic frame that goes in front of the monitor when the door is closed.  You'll also need power running to it, which typically comes from a 2 or 3-wire plug from the light above it (top glass).  The plastic casings are very fragile and like to crack/break.  Then, the lighting packages fits inside and I believe one screw holds that in place (can't quite remember here at work).  :Dave

Thanks Dave,
The more I inspect the pic of the item on Rudy's deals, the more hesitant I am. The wiring is a four wire system, two to each side of the fluorescent bulb into a four wire connector, and my machine doesn't have any existing connector that looks compatible. Also it looks as if the item is supposed to snap into something so that it opens like a door when you need to change the bulb.
It's only $9 bucks so not a huge risk but, I'm not sure... are you sure?
Thanks, Jim

Yikes!  That's not quite the one I was thinking of.  That one looks slightly more modern, like it's for a LCD instead of CRT.  That shouldn't matter.  If it was me, I'd check the voltage and change the harness to make it work, but I've also been known to blow things up. Tongue Out

If you want the exact part that matches, then it is slightly different.  I searched a little at work, but couldn't find it.  Possibly one of the vendors like Bettor Slots and Blueridge Slots might have one.

Sorry about that.  I read/looked too fast this morning.
