Source for Varta 3/V150H Green Battery

Other than Mouser at $5 per battery + being out of stock or 2weeks +lead time to get them
 and whatever their special shipping cost is due to being batteries.

Does anyone know of another source? maybe a secret cheaper one

I did search Ebay + Google but prices were double/triple
I need about 5 of them...working on getting some enhanced boards up and running again.
YES...I know I should be patient and wait since Mouser seems to be the best choice..
But I'm in the mood to fix shit now  

Now I did run across a thread on here where a member said you can solder the + and - together
on the enhanced board and not use the green battery at all but somehow I'm not to keen on trying that.

I'm also open to hear if anyone has tried a different 3.6v rechargeable battery in its place
with success.

I just bought some from Mouser and AG and E they were 5.79 from AG and E but were in stock.  The ones from Mouser even though they said two weeks came  in about 7 days after I ordered them.  I got them both in about the same amount of time

K+ Steve..my only question on those is they are Nickel-Cadmium and the original Varta is Nickel Metal Hydride
Not sure if that will make a big difference...oh well off to bed for the night.

only thing is we know they fit and work .I did ask a few on here  before we ordered them they said they were a good match so we bought them  , shipping was free and fast

I have had no problems with the ones I bought either. They did have a different pin config, but I just cut or snap the little weld on the old battery and solder to the old leads so it was not an issue. (I don't have to remove the board doing it that way).
