I think it's time to make a separate post strictly for the custom decal work that myself and others have done for our machines.. Feel free to chime in on any custom legends/decals you have created or would like done.

I will be adding some of the fonts that match the originals and templates for 1c,5c,25c,$1 so you can make your own if you'd like.

Enjoy'ith fellow  nlg  Brethren....

Harvey

Thx. I started with printing them on a transparency and then either spray painting the back with bright white appliance paint or adding a thin white plastic from a craft store (hobby lobby) to try to make the 'glow' look original. Now I use a sign material that is gloss on the front and matte white on the back. It has to be printed on a huge printer, but fortunately my friend has that printer at his disposal. Will post a few pictures of the methods I've used.

Methods I have used..

First is the transparency with backing method.

Second is the roll sign stock that works best.

S2000 multi denom touch pad (Triple Double RedHot Peppers)

Love these ones Harvey.  Do you have the PSD template?  Would love to use this but have two of them printed, one for "1 cent, 2 cents, 25 cent and 1 dollar", and the other one "1 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 25 cent".  The first one is my current setup, the second one is the setup that I would like to change to once I learn how to use my S2000 a little better, lol.  I just got an S2000 after having an S Plus for several years.  Do you know anyone that prints on laminated vinyl cheap for these?

Do you know where I can get the font?  Says it's called "Slot Regular", but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Search here on NLG. I think the user Deuce23 posted the zip. Search 'slot font' and read up on how to make the 'cent' symbol, it takes a few key strokes to make. (note on a laptop you have to add the 'Funtion' key to the equation..

If you cant find it let me know and I cant attach it in a bit.

I can have them printed on a white sign stock but would only do that if I had enough (like 20+) decals to print. Otherwise I would use the transparency method.

Btw, the touchpad decal can be printed on regular stock and look fine seeing the background is black. That's the budget way to print those. - Now the single denom decals need to be printer differently cause the background is white.

Thanks, will do.  Having trouble installing the slots font on my mac.  Says there are errors with it and it won't install.  I thought it was the Hollywood font, but I installed that and the numbers don't look the same.
