If you remove the battery on the processor you will be lucky if any settings are saved. Make sure hopper is enabled and soft settings are correct.

Crowsen,

Any solution for this? If there is please let me know how since I don't have any manual for this SP873. And if you have manual for this I highly appreciate if you can give. I had a lot of SP's manual but except on this type maybe you need it too.

Thank you

If you're getting weird behavior after a battery change, you may wish to use a RAM clear chip.  It isn't typical that you'd need to, but in this case it may help restore the machine back to normal.

There are no "keychips" for a S+ machine -- there's a RAM clear chip, and a SET chip used to set the denomination and enable the bill validator.  I'd suggest the RAM clear chip to clear everything back to the default settings, then go through and re-configure all of the settings (and use a SET chip if you have a bill validator to re-enable).
