First check battery on progressive. Then you need to hookup to psp to setup.

It's the program you install in your computer . Need cable to run from computer to Mikohn to set it up.

I wonder if you could just try using the buttons on the Mikohn and verify that it's set for SA?  C1 is a communication error between the display and the machine, so it may be a simple setting with the display's configuration.  There are two buttons that get you into the 3 menu's, one of which if for making sure it's set to Stand Alone progressive (SA).  :Dave

Steve,

Here's some stuff that will help,

In the Standalone configuration the CHAMII+ controls the jackpot amounts and the amounts displayed on the in-machine displays for a particular machine. The CHAMII+ receives coin-in data from the machine connected at J7 (Machine Interface Port), increments the jackpot values, and displays those amounts on the in-machine displays connected at J2 and J3. Also the CHAMII sends jackpot amounts back to the machine via the machines Link 485 (J14 back plane) to be displayed in the bookkeeping meter 08.

Mikohn CHAMII+ Configurations:

Menu Items – ADDR, DISP, and SYST

ADDR:
Protocol  (PROTO) = CON2
Group Address (GRADR) = 255
ID Address (IDADR) = 1
Router Address (RTR ADDR)= OFF (unless the CHAMII+ connects to a Mikohn SUPERLINK system.
Machine ID (M ID) = Available only if the protocol is set to CASLNK
Machine ADDR (MACH ADDR) = 1

DISP:
Jackpot Limit (JPLIMIT) = No
# Of displays (# DISPLAYS) = 1
Jackpot Group (JP GRP) = SA
Meter File (MFILE) = 4
Odometer Speed (ODSPEED) = default
Font = FLIP18
Size = 60

SYST:
Used to test various system components. OFF is the default value and the TEST function must be set to OFF for the CHAMII+ to function properly.

Notes:
   For the Linked Combo Configuration you will use both the PSP Software and the CHAMII+ switches to configure the controller and the CHAMII+ settings respectively.
   The CHAMII+ logic board must be in configuration mode to change any of its settings.
   Display must be hooked up to J2 to for configuration.

Here's more for the machine (11d) menu

11D

02= 0005 if 0004 is used you get 91 error
07= 001
78lL= 001

Try this stuff first. Do you a laptop with PSP on it, and the cable for programing the Cham II?

2=4 or 5 whatever works (Serial Multiplex progressive interface)
7=1  (# of external jackpots)
78LO=1  (machine address)
