After reading as much as I can by searching.  It seems that I can't have anymore than legacy/default sounds on this setup, correct?   I have checked all the sound options over and over, and the option is just not there.

My machine is a double diamond with free spin bonus,  5 reel, 9 line with progressive, max 45 cr.

Version chip: VS011GX1  8/20/04  ( I believe I can set up multi-denomination with this??, Something will check out later)

SG chip: SG000597  1 of 2 & 2 of 2   year 2007

SB chip: SB101576  year 2008

I have a multimedia lite board & a DSV00042 simm attached.

What piece of hardware am I missing or to swap out some chip to access the enhanced/preferred sounds?  The sounds I want to achieve is exactly this:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/n_j2gsC_MRU&rel=0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/n_j2gsC_MRU&rel=0</a>

If it is not possible to access these sounds at all on my current setup, than I guess I will have to change out the game.  As I'm willing to change out the game for enhanced sounds, as I'm getting sick of legacy sounds.

If it has to come to it, does anyone know of what type of IGT S2000 game kits out there that contains the following:

-5 reel
-progressive
-the same game sounds in the youtube link

Thanks ! Any help or insight would be appreciated.

I have been banging my head against the wall (and machine) to try to have reel spin sounds on a few of my 5 reelers. I have tried to change my max credits and have used numerous simms with NO luck.. I've come to the conclusion that only some titles allow this.

-Here's a few that someone posted on this site that will play reel spin sounds. 5 reel games, Triple Lucky 7's SB100497 (known clones triple butterfly 7's, Tripe red hot 7's). (Cleopatra has the coolest, most extensive sounds in my opinion.)

DD FreeSpin uses a DSV00082. And basically, you will only have sounds when in the free spin mode if I'm not mistaken. Like Double Diamond Run.

Why IGT didn't make every title with the option of using sound simms is beyond me.. Regardless of home use or on the casino floor, SOUND makes it more enjoyable.
