As far as I know for the Wing Board with CG2426 graphics, the following types are supported:

  Bonus Poker, Bonus Poker Deluxe, Double Bonus Poker, Double Double Bonus Poker, Triple Bonus Poker
  Deuces Wild Poker, Deluxe Deuces Wild, Loose Deuces, Deuces Bonus, Double Deuces, Royal Deuces Poker
  Joker Poker, Double Joker Poker, Deuces Joker Wild Poker, Sevens or Better, Tens or Better, Jacks or Better
  Nevada Draw Poker, Nevada Bonus Poker, White Hot Aces, Double Double Aces & Faces, Odds & Ends Poker
  Two Pair, Crazy Eights and Full House Bonus

Plus
  Triple Double Bonus Poker (not in CG2298, but added to CG2426)

Things that don't work for sure are:
  Lucky Deal Poker, Shockwave Poker or Ace$ Bonus Poker
  Keno or Blackjack
  International (alternate language) versions of Poker

As long as you have any of those types of X00nnnnP Poker DATA roms, they should run with the XMP00017 Poker Game rom.

There's likely not enough memory in the machine to do it, Jay. The reason why those specific games work is because they can share the same CG chips for all the graphics, and for the most part they're all just basic poker games with paytable variations. Other games either require special graphics, or a different game chip to operate.

Nice job, especially in finding one of the earliest poker games on the system (PP0002).

I just have to add though, shouldn't the manufacturer name be International Game Technology rather than International "Gaming" Technology?

Just referring to the name used inside the MAME source, every IGT machine I have seen with the name spelled out (e.g on the art glass or wherever) has always said Game rather than Gaming. That said, I haven't seen a recent machine with the name written out at all, every modern game I have seen seems to only have the later IGT spade design with the newer font. The last machine I saw with International Game Technology was a Spectrum (GU4) machine.

- The DBV-145 pulses for bill validation for the PE+ were relatively easy to figure out.  Stolistic did just that in order to add bill acceptance into the PE+ MAME stuff.  The conversion board pictured there is the next logical step, I guess -- it takes the output from a more modern bill validator and then converts the signal to output the equivalent of the older validator.  Pretty ingenious, actually.

- The PE+ game is just a 20-coin 7/5 Jacks or Better game.  The graphics are hosed in the video you found which I'm assuming is why the paytable visibly looks much larger than a typical PE+ on-screen paytable, but there doesn't seem to be a lot that's very special about the items on the paytable.  It's a standard 7/5 JoB game, which pays an awful (in the VP world) 96.15%.

I need some help opening this rom Player's Edge Plus (PP0728) Double Bonus Poker. I downloaded the latest rom version and emulator and also previous ones and it does not open says it is missing some rom or chd images or files or something like that can you help me out please.
