My GK crashed a few months ago replaced both batteries and am now getting the following messages on the game menu screen.

"EFT IN"

"Closure MCLB" and "Restart"

What do I need to do?  Chip reset?

Both battery's ?  Scratch Head Scratch Head  In Sept you said you have a 3802 board.  If it's a 3802/3902 just turn the jackpot key a bunch of times (4 or 5 times) and see what comes up on the screen. If it makes you press the test button more than 4 times you going to have to use a Key chip. Me if I have to key a machine I just go ahead and clear/key and get it over with.

I see you put a question mark next to the two batteries comment.  I replaced the 3 volt coin cell and the 3 + volt Ni-Mh rechargeable battery pack (two multi coin cell packs wrapped in green shrink wrap).  Had to order that from Hong Kong, $5 vs $80.  The problem wasn't fixed immediately the NI-MH pack must have needed to fully charge.

I went ahead and did a memory clear. Thanks for the suggestions.

don't understand the $5 versus $80  comment.   The NiCad Battery is available  from Mouser Electronics  for 4.99 each.

 I Agree

Thanks for the Mouser lead.  My original search string must have been two specific and the only original replacement I found were listed for $80 and $100.  Mouser has the exact replacement German battery for $4.99 like you state.

I guess where I'm having a problem is I've never seen a 3802 or a 3902 board with a Ni-Cad.

Would you please post a picture of your board so we can make sure what you have and not direct you in the wrong direction.

Here is a photo of my processor board there is no Model # listed on it that I can find.  The battery changes fixed my problems and cured some issues I have had since getting the machine.

I need help installing a ticket printer.  What molex connector on the mother board does it plug into?  What port do I use for power?  I think I have an Ithaca 850 or 950 printer and will need to find a pin out diagram for both the mother board connector and the printer connector.  I believe the printer came out of a IGT S series slot.

I'm pretty sure it's a 3802 board,   where you have two Ni-cad battery's, I have none.  Scratch Head Scratch Head  I still have about a half dozen 3802 boards that I don't use anymore and close to (100) 3902 boards and trust me none of them have a Ni-cad battery. The good news is you only wasted 5 bucks instead of 80.

IGT used two different mother boards in Game King machine. Let me see if I can post a couple of pictures. OK I can only post two pictures so the two mother board pic will be in the next post

First pic. is of the old type mother board, note the IO tray right above the MPU. The second pic is actually a I Game but is the same as a Game King and a S 2000 reel machine. Note the plugs are below the MPU.

Someone else needs to help you with the printer, but as I recall the printer plugs into a socket marked " NET PLEX " on the mother board and I think only one of the plugs from the printer is used. ( the large one )
