Just picked up 6 GK slants, someone sure put time into painting these things with automotive paint. Thing is, not so sure it is going to hold up as well as the original powder coating.

I have 6 wrinkle black 5 reel slants, I think I am going to trade out doors and such. I don't ever see doing anything with the 5 reels anyway.

Thought I would share,

David

Maybe they attempted to get as close as they could to the blue that Gameking uses and this is the way it turned out? If they applied a couple of hardened clearcoats on top it will probably hold up ok for home use.

Were these in commercial use somewhere or a private owner?

Commercial use but I think they were only installed for a few months. You can see where the drop team would slam boxes on the top, paint already chipping. No clear coat, just paint.  no
