I purchased this from a local auction along with another machine. It powers up and said low battery,
I changed the battery and now in the window it says "RAM ERROR" I pulled the board out and there is no Ram on it..Is there supposed to be??

Show us a picture of the board. Ram errors are normally cleared with the jackpot reset key

Here's a picture of the board..It also has"Replace battery on the video screen. Is that a seperate piece??

That's a 1287 board, setup should be easy. Your top box may have a small computer in it that uses a CMOS battery like your home computer does. Underneath the daughter board in the picture you posted is a largish green 3 cell rechargeable battery also. On your board it needs to be charged for the game to work
