I have a Bonus Frenzy game that stops making the reel spin sound after the 1st reel stops. Seems like one that had before would play the reel spin sounds until all 4 reels stopped. Is there a way to make this machine play the sounds for the duration of all 4 reels spinning? It does have the pro sound board mounted to the interior left of the cabinet in case that helps any.

Thanks,

David

Mine does the exact same thing -- the reel spin sounds stop as the first reel stops.  I never did find out the solution, but I'd be interested if anyone has the answer.

Which sound board do you guys have?  The older one is an easy fix..... the newer, not so much.

I have the same sound board as David.  My chip is labeled:

Okay.... does yours do the same thing that David and I indicated?  You hinted at it being an easy fix to resolve the issue...

This happened to me a year or so ago, from what I can remember it was a corrupted sound chip. I installed a new chip and all was good.

I just checked mine. When 68 in 11d menu is on 01 sound stops when reel 1 stops. When 68 is set to 00 sound re-starts for each reel.

I just checked mine. When 68 in 11d menu is on 01 sound stops when reel 1 stops. When 68 is set to 00 sound re-starts for each reel.

68 set to 00 you are using the main MPU sound, 68 set to 01 you are using either the Pro Sound I or II board (external board). So if you have it set to 01 and the sound stops it is either a problem with your Pro Sound board or a corrupted sound chip.

I don't doubt what you're saying but, I have 6 B/F's all with the same chip and all do the same thing.

Strange....Mine works fine and it has the same chip and menu 68 is set to 01. I do remember I had the same problem but cant remember 100% if it was the board or chip.  Do you get the respin sound ?

How can I take the credits off if the machine boots into a dead battery error?
