Hi guys,
I'm new here but hope you can help.

I have a paltronics TAB21676 40x88 rgb led matrix.

The connection is rj11, rs485. It boots up with the borders and 0s for the values, so seems to be working right.

Obviously it needs to be fed jackpot values via the connection. I'd like to emulate this, maybe feed it data via an arduino or similar.

I just don't know where to start protocol wise.. Setting up an rs485 connection is easy, just need to know what to send!

Thanks if anyone can help! I can post pics if need be.
