I'm considering purchasing an Easy Street machine which is local to my area but the seller is selling because he can't fix an error 32. Is this a big issue or something easily correctable?
Price seems to be right but I've heard these are hard to get parts for and don't want to be stuck with something that takes up space and can't be fixed easily.
Thanks, Jim

Jim  Just how much is this fellow paying you to haul it off for him ??  If you want a machine to tinker with, DO NOT get a CDS they just don't like being messed with. Put it another way and this is no BS, I always suggest if your going to remove coins from the hopper on a CDS, turn the power off. I still have about five of them and I will not sell any of them, reason being I don't want the head aches from the new owner.

We have one member that likes the damn things, user name Paul,

Error 32 is a hopper jam  Here's a link to the manual   http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?action=downloads;sa=downfile&id=1886

SilverFerret, where are you located? Your profile simply says "south bay," but that could be anywhere. If you are in the Los Angeles area, I think I know a little about that seller.

UPDATED - Never mind it must be this ad:

i got CDS slot machine Easy street from LAS VEGAS real one NOT THE one made in china accept real $1-100 i sell cheap because machine got ERROR 32 hopper i don't know how to fix it i pay over $900 SERIOUS ONLY THANK YOU sell AS IS
do not waste my time THANK YOU Price is FIRM need 2 people and pick up to carry heavy
DO NOT OFFER $240

This guy has had either the same CDS machine or various broken ones on CL for well over a year. I offered him (before I knew) a reasonable amount on a working one and his reply was RUDE and full of profanity... he basically cursed me out. I would never try to do business with that moron again.  ttth

Thanks Buzz and ShortRackSkater.
Yes that is the ad and yes I'm south of Los Angeles.
I know your opinion Buzz and value it but that game was a huge favorite of mine when on the casino floor. Figured couldn't get hurt too bad at the price and proximity if it was an easy fix.
We got rid of a computer desk and opened up some wall/slot space to fill up.
Buzz, are any of your five in working condition? I mean,... you'll have to get rid of them at some point..., if so, let me know. I'd love to play the game again. It was a fun one.
Thanks guys, Jim

SilverFerret, do yourself a favor and listen to Buzz. I've played his Easy Street -- when it was working, which wasn't for very long  knockout -- and yes, it was fun to play and had cool music, but it and all of the CDS's of that era are absolute crap. Joey had some in his shop back in 2006-2007 and had nothing good to say about them, either. Buzz didn't listen to Joey, bought some and ended up in the same camp. Heck, I might have joined them back in the day if I had had room for one, since the games are cool when they work.

I've seen Buzz's machines, both working, not working, and breaking right in front of my eyes for no damned good reason!  Silly Me! frying pan They are extremely temperamental. Learn from their experience and leave the CDS video and reel games of that period alone.

Find an emulated version of the thing. Maybe Masque slots put it out. ??

Yes, what a shame! I really enjoyed that game too years ago. My CDS reel deal video poker has held up well so far.
Is it the same for the CDS video slot bingo games??

I don't know. I don't think Buzz or Joey ever had those. Either of them can tell you a lot more of the gory details than I can about the machines they do/did have.

I guess in the end, I shouldn't really tell anyone not to buy a machine that they really want. Who knows? Maybe Jim can find an Easy Street in good condition and get lucky. But Buzz wasn't kidding about pulling the plug to get coins out of the hopper. He had a video machine (I think it was a frog game) crap out just by opening and closing the door.

I can tell you from personal experience do not but it. They are horrible machines. I owned a cds 9line bingo. Parts are very tough to come by. And not many people have the knowledge to repair them. The birthing chips can be tough to come by as well.i paid 25$for for mine and just needed a battery. Ended up replacing a board. Took over 2 months to get it up and running.

After this thread started I went in and turned on my Easy Street, bigger than hell if gives me a low battery error. OK so  I turn on Barn Yard, it has credits on it and the game plays but the BV rejects all bills and all the coins go back to the tray. Yaa just gotta luv this junk !!!  Today I put a new battery in Easy Street, it still has a "Low Battery Error "   Scratch Head Scratch Head  It needs 3 volts and the meter says it has 3.7 volts !!

Oh lets not forget a CDS Video has 3 or 4 fans in them, sounds like a 747 running up it's jet engines for take off.

David I did have a Reel Deal machine, I bought it on Ebay as not working because I wanted the WBA out of it. What happens, it's got a damn ol DBV 145, I gave it to some dumb shit that lives over in Nevada for a parts machine.
