Has been a while since posted, but I now need help with mundo problem.

Have an Atronics Emotion TiTo unit from the States.

Have a client who wants it, if I can convert the unit to coin to accept Euro.

These units are unlike most any I have worked on.

WHat I have in parts are Dollar Token Coin Parts from EMotions that we got from a casino a while back.

The questions in doing this conversion:

1) to fit the Euro COin (which is about quarter size in diameter and nickel size in thickness), can I just file out a nickel coin head to accomodate?

2) Will I need a special coin comparator of any sort to accomodate a Euro?

3) There is a sensor in the bottom of the machine cabinet which I am thinking determins if the coin chute is open or closed.  Anyone have experience in installing or removing this piece?

4) Does anyone have experience adjusting an EMotions Hopper to work with a different size coin?

PLEASE respond soonest and thanks.

don't know how much help i'll be but from the info you have provided i can say this:

theoretically the nickle coin head could work if you made the opening wider, all the coin head does is guide the coin into the comparitor.  the eMotion manual i have isn't much help but does read that the coin comparitor is a CC-16/IC-16. propeller
all of our eMotion games have been TiTo since installation but we did have the cashline platform that was coin in/out for several years so i can apply some of that experience to your issues.  for instance the cashline platform had a set of optics at the bottom of the game that counted coins that were diverted to the drop cabinet, that may be the same for the eMotion and is what you see as a sensor for the coin chute.
the hoppers in the cashline games were made by Asahi Seiko.  doing a coin conversion consisted of changing the coin shelf and knife at least; maybe other components also, it's been a long while since i've done that!! Scratch Head
other than that i don't know if i can help you out any more, don't know jack about the Euro Duh!
