Hi everyone!  wave

I'm finally become a slot owner and i'm thrilled about my new investment applause
We imported 6 Igt S+ to Norway from Sweden and I'm the lucky owner of 3 of them. But I have some questions. I'm not gonna take them all at once in the same post, but rather take it slow since all of the machines are up and running.

Does anyone have any info on some of the following machines:

1 Red, White & Blue
   SP114
   SS3444(?)

2 4th of July
    SP494
    SS4364

3 Triple Diamond
    SP584
    SS4788

Useful information may be things like:
-which set and clear chip is the right one?
-is there some spesific game options or manual available?
-is there any other reel chips or other things that can be exchanged for an alternative game?
-any funfacts or other interresting info

Hope someone have some knowledge on these machines since I didn't see them in the bible

Thanx

All those titles you list are on the S+ bible.  You select how many coins your machine(s) take and then look for the title.  Also there's a good section on things you can do with your slots such as game changes and enabling bill validatorsand common error codes and resolutions.

Sorry my bad! Duh! Somehow I thought the list in the top of this category was the bible, but now I've learned something today also. Thanx!

Regarding game chance, I was hoping there was possible to make for example RWB haywire or some other fun combination. Any thoughts?

The issue is the software.  There are games that have similar characteristics as far as the reel strips and winning combinations that basically turns one game into another one.  For example:

1.  Triple Diamond shares reelstrip order and paytable combos with Triple Dollars with Mystery reel action. You can use a Triple Diamond kit and use the chips from a Triple Dollars w/Mystery reel action to give a Triple Diamond game the mystery reel action feature.

2.  Double Diamond  shares reelstrip order and paytable combos with Double Jackpot Haywire.  You then basically turn your kit into a Double Diamond Haywire kit.

Giving RWB a haywire feature, although possible (anything is possible) is VERY difficult unless you have guidance from IGT, which as you may imagine is unlikely that they would just be nice about it and give you the information needed to create such a mod.  You would have to have a working knowledge on how the reel chip is made up so you can manufacture the game to your liking (which is what IGT does when they make a game, but unlike us, they have all the information regarding the layout and function of every byte in the program).  Because all this information is HIGHLY regulated by various governement compliance agencies,  information regarding this type of modification is a welcome mat for lawyers to come knocking on your door with Cease and Desist orders.

Thank you all for all the feedbacks!

I wasn't planning to hack any software, but rather switch out the reel prom to something fun. Like many of you guys I like to tinker with games of all kind and thought it would be fun with an alternative slot machine.

But if i understand correctly: My RWB can use the Dollars chip, but there is nothing that maches the triple diamond?

A little funfact: These types of slot machines has never been allowed in Norway. Not in public anyway. We only had what you call fruit machines. The only place we could play these were on the ferries going between norway, sweden, denmark and germany.

We got them suprizenly cheap to... only about 500$ included transport to Norway.

You got it backwards, the triple diamond can use the triple dollars chip w/mystery reel action.  It requires a different reel and game eprom.   RWB does not have an equivalent.

How does the mystery reel feature work? Is there any chance to buy this chip somewhere???

Just to clarify, Chaos is very similar to Wild Star RWB, but the pay table is slightly different for the top two payout combinations, and the strip symbol order is completely different. It is therefore not possible to use the Chaos chips with a Wild Star RWB kit.

It is a variant of RWB, but you would have to buy the whole kit to have it play properly.

That's the right one.  The mystery reel action is just that.  The reels from time to time randomnly nudge up or down to the payline, there's no way to know when, it just happens periodically.  You should be able to obtain a chipset from any of our vendors.  Just post a WTB 3 coin (or 2 coin, whatever your Triple Diamond set is) Triple Dollars w/Mystery Reel action eprom set and you should get a bite shortly.

Do the machines have bill validators?  If they do you will need a set chip to re-enable them after you change to the newer chips.

They don't have bill validators sadly, there isn't any mounting possibilities for this either. Not on the machine itselves. If I decide to get one, I'd have to mount it in the stand or on the side of the slot.

Ok, then you just need the 2 eproms.  I'm sure someone will contact you regarding availability.

Yes you do need both, SP and Reel that's why I said you need the 2 eproms.  As far as Montana Credits, I'm not sure if a Montana Credits SP game chip is available for a type 23 game like this one.

yes, SP1137 is one that will work.  You will also need SET86 in order to set the value of each coin.  You could, for example, have the machine give up to 99 credits per coin inserted.  If you don't get a SET86, then theres 1 coin per credit.  If you configure the game to use montana credits, you could just feed the machine coins until your hand is sore (or you exceed the credit limit, whichever comes 1st)  arrow

Does any SP or SET Bible exist? That would be great rotflmao
It would at least be easier to find out what chip you need for your slot. Another chip question I've got is: Can I choose any of the SS chips from the bible when I only want to change the payout percent??? Under the specific machine of course.
