Heavy Indian Native American lobbying.

Anyone else notice that Google maps now defaults CA to Canada instead of California? You have to either type "anytown, CA, USA" or "anytown, California". If you type "anytown, CA" you get Canada. Duh!

The default was always local to global separated by commas:  address, town, state/province, country. Why does "town, CA" suddenly = Canadian town if no province is given when every other postal state abbreviation search missing the country info still works correctly?

And considering the the population and gross annual product of California, they sure made a poor choice of picking a state to de-value in their search engine. I could list several other states whose two letter postal abbreviation is the same as that of another country's...

Lots of US made guns and ammo are going south and are being used to support the drug cartels. Who incidently use these Weapons against US border patrol and to kidnap tourists.

You may want to research those statistics put out by the Obama administration, it's not even close. Politicians aare bad at math, but good at spin.  yes yes yes
